Welcome back to The Circle! As always, our children have been out and about exploring the world around them, whilst learning and having fun. Because this is a priority for us, it means there are lots of diary dates for you to make a note of! Our aim, wherever possible, is to have key dates in the newsletter and on Weduc at least a term in advance and we are working hard to get better at this. Thanks as always for your continued support and Happy Eid to all those celebrating this weekend! Best wishes, Andi and Sarah
Our Values in Action:
Reception- Joy
This week, Zephaniah Class went on an exciting trip to Stepney City Farm. It was wonderful to see the children exploring nature and deepening their understanding of the world. The trip provided a great opportunity for hands-on learning and allowed the children to engage with their environment in a meaningful way.
Year 1 – Joy
To celebrate International Day of Play our tenants, Institute of Imagination, hosted a special Lego workshop. The children were challenged in a number of ways: first to create a creature, then to use the blocks sideways to balance a tower. No matter how simple the resources, the children find joy in collaborating together.
Year 2 – Responsibility
Parton are showing responsibility with their practice for the end of year dance show. They are listening carefully and trying their best to be prepared, professional and make the show as successful as possible.

Sports Day!
We are excited to give you some more information about our Sports Day 2024! This year it will be taking place at Three Mills Green on Friday 12th July (weather permitting). The event will start at 9.30am and finish at 11.30am. All are welcome to attend!
Few points to note:-
- There will be no seating at the event. Please bring a camping chair, stool or blanket if you would like to sit. You will be moving around a circuit, following your child.
- If it is raining, we will try and rearrange for the hall. We will make the decision the day before.
- Please drop off your child at the normal time, dressed in their PE kit. Please make sure they have a water bottle and are dressed for the weather e.g. sun hat, sunscreen.
- You will then be asked to meet us at Three Mills Green if you are attending. The event finishes at 11.30 and the children will be walking back to school promptly to have their lunch.
Attendance Matters – every day counts
This week the average whole school attendance went up to 94.37% and our target is 97%. The class with the highest attendance this week was Parton class, well done! Thank you for your efforts in making sure your children are here on time every day. If you ever need support with this – please let us know. You can email the office or speak to your child’s class teacher.
